Almost like it is a 1/16 chance of it being the top spot to earn the Stanley Cup. Still higher odds than any other though. Home ice is far from irrelevant also, but you are a troll just looking for attention and I responded, so bravo

Eight out of 33 is actually not bad odds. That means the President's Trophy winner earns the cup about 25% of the time.

If it was irrelevant, the odds would be closer to 6%, or 1/16th.

Winning the President's Trophy doesn't really matter, but being good enough to win it certainly does.

This Blues team has been terribly injured all season long, has had terrible special teams at times (although lately they're better), and doesn't have enough strong youth to win it all again. I'll be rooting for them every step of the way but I will be happy if they push it to six games.

Someone should really let this team know their accomplishment is irrelevant and that home ice means nothing, scientifically speaking. Besides, O'Reilly already made it clear that the Avs won't be winning, so they might as well not even show up.
